Grimoldi - Bramante Collection
Named after the great Italian renaissance architect Bramante, this watch has its peculiar style which speaks of character and originality. Its lines are smooth while determined, and they outline an indeed unique wrist piece. The large side wings of Bramante are inspired from the classic Cioccolatoni frame from 1940s, while they are also a re-elaboration of cult objects of the past.
In Bramante, the hand of Giorgio Grimoldi has drawn free on the page, driven by pure and instinctive creativity, creating a magic page of forms and colours. The powerful watchcase is curved and embraces the wrist, with side wave lines typical of Giorgio Grimoldi’s designs. In “Clessidra” (Italian for “Hourglass”) drops of time fall in a visual pond with mirror image – the image reminds of an hourglass in which time flows free of fantasy. In “Labirinto” (Italian for “Labyrinth”) the geometric lines play with suspended three dimensionality with the curves of watchcase.
